FFA/Ag Trip – Monday Reminder
Hello Students and Parents,
This is a reminder that our FFA/Ag Trip is tomorrow; Monday. As mentioned in class for the past two weeks:
• Departure: 6:30 AM sharp – please arrive early to be ready on time.
• Dress Code: Official FFA dress is required.
◦ Black slacks or skirts
◦ White collared button-up shirt
◦ FFA jacket and tie (extras available if needed)
Important: Students without proper official dress cannot attend the trip and parents must turn around and pick them back up immediately!!
Be prepared and ready for a great day!
Today, all athletes received a physical form that must be completed and signed. Please make sure to bring the completed form back on Wednesday, April 15th.
Physicals will be FREE for all athletes — you just need to have the signed form!
If a student does not get their physical on Wednesday, they will be required to obtain one before the start of the fall sports season.

Prom will be held on April 11, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at The Lovely at Mulberry Creek Square. Tickets are $25.

High School Academic UIL participants will travel to Ira tomorrow. We will depart at 7:30 AM, so please arrive early and ready to go.

Tomorrow — Wednesday, March 25 — is Grandparent’s Day at the Book Fair!
We are excited to welcome grandparents to join their students for a special time of reading, shopping, and making memories together. We hope to see you there!

Out of an abundance of caution due to a significant increase in student and staff illness, our campus will be closed on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, to allow for thorough cleaning and disinfection of the school.
The health and safety of our students and staff are our top priority. During this closure, our custodial team will complete a comprehensive disinfecting process of classrooms, common areas, restrooms, buses, and high-touch surfaces to help reduce the spread of illness.
We encourage families to:
Monitor students for symptoms of illness.
Keep students home if they are experiencing fever or other symptoms.
Ensure students are fever-free for at least 24 hours without medication before returning to school.
Practice frequent handwashing and good respiratory hygiene.
At this time, we plan to reopen on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 unless otherwise notified. Any updates will be shared via email, text notification, and posted on the district website. We appreciate your understanding and partnership as we work to maintain a healthy learning environment for all students. If you have any questions, please contact the school office at 325-862-6125.
Both dates will be regular school days that students are expected to attend. The normal school schedule will be followed.
