Due to school cancellation today, the Title 1 Annual Meeting is postponed until Friday, December 15th @ 7:30 AM. We will meet in room 132.
Parents and Guardians,
Due to an increasing number of students absent from school
with various types of illnesses, we are going to cancel classes
for Wednesday, December 13, 2023. This will give the faculty
and staff time to disinfect the school, and give everyone a
chance to rest and recover. We apologize for any
inconvenience this may cause, but would like to err on the side
of caution and do our best to prevent any sickness from
spreading.

Mrs.Beaver is leaving Loraine in the bus now with all contestants except 8th impromptu and modern oratory. 8th grade impromptu and modern oratory contestants and coaches will take a van when they are finished.
UIL contestants have left Loraine!
UIL is running late. I will post again when we leave Loraine.
Elementary and JH UIL contestants will be traveling to Loraine tomorrow. We will leave around 12:15 (after lunch at school) and will return around 8:30 P.M. We will provide drinks, snacks, and dinner for all those competing.

The A Team boys will be playing tonight @ 6:00 in Westbrook. The time has been moved up due to the cancellation of the girl's game. Come cheer on your JrHigh Gorillas!!

A few of our games this week have changed times. Here is an updated schedule for basketball this week.
Monday 11/13: JH Boys A Team @ Loraine 5 PM
Tuesday 11/14: Varsity Girls & Varsity Boys @ Rotan. Girls at 5 PM with boys to follow.
Wednesday 11/15: No games.
Thursday 11/16: JH Boys B team and JH Girls @ Paint Creek. Girls at 6 PM with boys to follow.
Friday 11/17: Trent Basketball Tournament for Varsity teams only.
Saturday 11/18: Trent Basketball Tournament for Varsity teams only.
**UPDATE**
Tonight's JrHigh basketball times have changed. The boys' B team will still play at 5:00, but the boys' A team will now play at 6:00 rather than 7:00. The JrHigh girls will not play. Come out and cheer on your Junior Gorillas!
There will not be a girls jr high game tonight. Boys B team will be at 5:00pm and the boys A team will be right after.
REMINDER: Veteran's Day Program at Community Club tonight at 6!
Report cards for the 2nd grading period are uploaded into the Parent Portal.
Please join us Thursday, November 9th for our school Veteran's Day Celebration at 2:30 PM and stay for the Elementary Awards Assembly following the program.
