We are planning on allowing all students to watch the eclipse outside on April 8th with school provided eclipse glasses. Please email Mrs. Goodnough at pgoodnough@trentisd.org if you do not want your student to watch the eclipse live and they will be allowed to watch it livestream on the smart board instead.
UIL Academic Meet is in Ira tomorrow. April 2. If your student is participating please have your student at the school ready to leave by no later than 7:30. They will be provided breakfast, lunch, and snacks. There will be a concession stand as well. Students are aware of dress code.

Today is school picture day. Seniors will take cap and gown pictures today.
All picture proofs have been sent home with students. If your student wants to retake their school pictures, the retake day will be on Wednesday, February 21st. This will be the last day to take pictures for this school year.
We will also take senior portraits on Wednesday, February 21st!
The Trent ISD Athletic department students are currently collecting pledges/donations for our first ever "Lift-A-Thon." Each high school athletics student will be asking for sponsors for their upcoming maxes the week of March 18th. The total amount of weight will be the sum of their bench press, deadlift, and squat. After completion of maxes, each student will come back around to collect pledges/donations. Examples of pledges are as follows:
Jane Doe lifted a total 500 pounds and received a pledge of $0.10 per lb.
500 * $0.10 = $50 donation
John Doe lifted a total of 840 lbs. and received a pledge of $0.05 per pound.
840 * $0.05 = $42 Donation
Our goal is to raise money for new weight room equipment for both boys' and girls' athletics to use. Each student has a goal of $100. Flat rate donations are also accepted. The boys all know their most recent total weight and should be able to give you an idea of what the new will be!
All students received sponsor letters today and should be able to help you! If interested in sponsoring a student or donating to our fundraiser, please contact Coach Isbell at his email (sisbell@trentisd.org). Thank you for your continued support of the Trent ISD Athletic department!
