Texas school & fire officials are warning about a dangerous TikTok trend where students insert paper clips or push pins into Chromebook ports to cause electrical shorts.
This behavior is extremely dangerous and may result in arson and vandalism charges and restitution for damages.
Parents—please talk with your children about the seriousness of this issue.

School provided sports physicals will be this upcoming Monday, May 12th. They will be offered on campus beginning at 8:30 AM.
All students in 5th-11th grade, who wish to participate in any UIL sport offered by Trent ISD next school year, must have a sports physical completed. In order to be eligible for a sports physical provided by the school on Monday, the front page of the physical form must be filled out and signed by a parent or guardian.
Students are not required to obtain their physical on Monday and may go to their personal medical provider on their own. Just return a copy of the completed sports physical to the front office.

Due to the recent bad weather days, we are making the following changes to the school calendar to ensure we meet the required instructional time:
Friday, May 9th will now be a regular full school day.
Tuesday, May 20th, originally scheduled as a half day, will now be a full day of instruction.

Please complete a Transfer Request if you have a student who resides outside of the Trent School District. This request is for the 25-26 School Year. Even if you have returning transfer students you will need to complete this form from the Trent ISD website for each student in the family. You will be notified during the Summer if your students have been accepted to Trent ISD. We are close to the deadline for submissions. Thank you.

Attention all parents of Transfer Students!!! We have now uploaded the Transfer Application Form for the 2025-2026 school year on our Trent ISD website. This form is for all returning and new students that live outside the Trent ISD school district.
Reminder tomorrow is Pre-K Roundup! Please come get your student enrolled and bring all of your required documentation.
April 2nd is Autism Awareness Day, a time to recognize and support individuals with autism in our school and beyond. We encourage everyone to show their support by wearing an Autism Awareness T-shirt if you have one. If not, wearing blue is another great way to participate!

Bring your child to tour the school and meet our Pre-K teacher next Wednesday, April 2, 2025 for Pre-K Roundup! It is open for all children that will turn 4 on or before September 1, 2025. Please bring a copy of your students birth certificate, copy of their immunization records, proof of residency and parent identification.
